Wright gives State big Christmas present

With the year winding down, Mississippi State continues to shore up its defense and they received a big boost on Christmas day when Olive Branch LB/DE K.J. Wright decided to join the pack. Wright discusses his decision.
"I committed to Mississippi State yesterday," he commented. "I called coach Croom and coach Haley and they told me they were happy for me and they were happy to have nme as part of the family. They are ready for me to get down there and get started."

Wright took a visit tpo South Carolina two weeks ago and after weighing his options, he chose the home-state team over the Gamecocks.
"I think first, they have been recruiting me since my junior year," he comented on his decision. "They were there early and I think I can go in there early and play and make a big impact.
"My family also played a big role. They really wanted me to go there."
Wright makes the 33rd commitment for the Bulldog class of 2007, including three players that signed earlier this month.
