Varnado treated by doctors

STARKVILLE , Miss. - During an early morning workout session at Humphrey Coliseum on Monday, Mississippi State All-SEC forward Jarvis Varnado became ill and was taken to Oktibbeha County Hospital for evaluation.
Although he was medically cleared by the doctors following numerous tests, 6-foot-9 Brownsville, Tenn., native was sent on to the Northeast Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo, Miss., for further tests as a precautionary measure.
"He's fine," 12th-year Bulldogs coach Rick Stansbury said. "We expect him back at full speed very shortly. We're just being very cautious."
