Updating the Bulldog Record Books

As the 2013 season comes to a close, many records were set and many notches moved by Bulldogs in the career record book. Bulldog Blitz takes you back to the season and the numbers put up. We will cover where the Bulldogs ranked in school history this season. MSU broke 10 team records and six individual records in 2013 with a total of 57 top 10's in season and career records.

Career Records:

Tyler Russell: 1st in passing touchdowns (42) and passing efficiency (137.29); 2nd in completion % (.587); 3rd in passing yardage (5,441), completions (410), interception % (.0330) and total touchdowns (45); 4th in 200-yard passing games (10), total offense (5,558) and yards-per-attempt (7.784); 6th in pass attempts (699).

Dak Prescott: 1st in interception % (.0261); T-1st in completion % (.588); 4th in yards-per-attempt (7.209); T-10th in 200-yard passing games (5).

Ladarius Perkins: 2nd in all-purpose yards (4,253); 5th in rushing attempts (530); 6th in rushing yards (2,554)

Nickoe Whitley: 2nd in interceptions (15)

Jameon Lewis: 4th in kick return yardage (1,349); 5th in kick returns (62)

Devon Bell: 6th in extra points attempted (70) and in extra points made (68); T-10th in field goal attempts (35)

Jameon Lewis: T-2nd in receptions (64); 3rd in all-purpose yards (1,537); 4th in receiving yards (923)

Nickoe Whitley: T-7th in interceptions (5)
