Head coach Mike Leach landed his quarterback for the 2022 class on Sunday.

After visiting a variety of campuses in recent weeks, Rockwall (Tex.) QB Braedyn Locke committed to Mississippi State.

Locke spent last weekend in Chapel Hill, visiting UNC. The Tar Heels were unable to grab any momentum from his Starkville visit he had recently been on.

Locke becomes commitment No. 11 for the Bulldogs currently, in a class ranked No. 10 in the country. That ranking is good enough for 4th in the SEC.
