Slay named Co-Special Teams Player of the Week

FULTON, Miss. - Itawamba Community College sophomore defensive back Darius Slay was named Co-Special Teams Player of the Week along with Northwest punter and place kicker Kevin Buford by the Mississippi Association of Community and Junior Colleges.
Slay, who was named Pre-Season All-American by JC Gridwire, returned a punt 76-yards for the eventual game-winning touchdown in the Indians' 21-20 road victory over the Mississippi Delta Trojans this past Thursday in Moorhead.
ICC will be back in action on Saturday as they host Coahoma Community College for Homecoming, kickoff is slated for 3:00 p.m. Fans are encouraged to come enjoy a day filled with activities all across campus as well as wear red to help "Spread the Red" this weekend in Fulton.
