A member of the 2017 class for Mississippi State has entered the NCAA Transfer Portal, sources told BulldogBlitz on Tuesday afternoon.

James Jackson, a redshirt junior offensive lineman, made the decision to explore his options following four seasons in Starkville.

The Pascagoula (Miss.) native appeared in 10 games in 2020, with two of those being starts. and has appeared in a total of 23 games since arriving in Starkville.

A former two-star prospect, Jackson held other offers in his original recruitment from Louisville, Southern Miss, and UTSA
