Oak Hill PG Camryn Carter joins 2021 class

The No. 132 player in the 2021 class has found a home. On Thursday afternoon, Oak Hill (Va.) point guard Camryn Carter made his decision to commit to the Bulldogs public.

Carter joins a list of Oak Hill alums to play in college that includes names such as Carmelo Anthony, Josh Smith, Keldon Johnson, and Rajon Rondo among several others.

Head coach Ben Howland will be hoping Carter is able to someday join the likes of the names listed above, after making it to the NBA.

He chose the Bulldogs over other offers from Virginia Tech, Ole Miss, Georgetown, and several others.

Carter becomes the first guard to commit to the program in the 2021 class, and with the imminent departure of freshman G Deivon Smith, there will be minutes to be had in the rotation next season. Especially if D.J. Stewart decides to keep his name in the 2021 NBA Draft.
