No. 12- Raymond ATH Trent Singleton

As Mississippi State continued adding talent into their future secondary, some around the recruiting industry had their doubts that Raymond (Miss.) athlete Trent Singleton would still end up in Starkville.

Singleton, who chose the Bulldogs over other offers from Indiana, Tulane, and Memphis among others, silenced any doubt of his inclusion in the class on Sunday afternoon, when he announced the decision on social media.

The timing behind the decision was in honor of a family member.

"I want to thank my family for the sacrifices that they have made; without them I wouldn't be the young man I am today," said Singleton in his commitment tweet. "Today is the one year anniversary of the day that my late grandmother passed on. Before she passed, I told her all of my dreams and aspirations. I find comfort in knowing that she is still with me, and it is during pivotal times like this I want to commemorate her."

Singleton lines up all over the field on both offense and defense for Raymond, and on his Hudl page lists himself at QB and CB.

He is expected to fill in a role defensively in the secondary.
