New offer for Cowan

Olive Branch (Miss.) senior D'Arthur Cowan has left good impressions at every camp he's attended this summer. The 6-foot-2 and 180-pound receiver did it again at Alabama's camp over the weekend.
"It went great and our team played pretty good," said Cowan, who had 31 catches for 658 yards and eight touchdowns last year. "We had a good time and we made it to the quarterfinals."

And Cowan's trip got even better once the camp competition ended.
"I got an offer from Alabama when I got finished with my individual workouts," said Cowan. "They told me to keep on working hard and that they liked what they saw. They said they wanted me back for another camp on July 17th.
"It felt great to get another offer from the SEC and they have a great program."
Along with his latest offer, Cowan also holds offers from Mississippi State, Arkansas, Southern Miss, Arkansas State and Memphis.
Cowan noted he will also attend July camps at Mississippi State and Auburn.
With the offer from Alabama, Cowan noted the Crimson Tide may be in a battle with two of his long-time favorites in MSU and Arkansas.
"Mississippi State and Arkansas are still up there," said Cowan. "But Alabama may be coming around. I need to check Alabama more and get to know them better to know for sure."
Concerning decision time, Cowan said he plans to make his collegiate choice either by the end of his summer or later into his final prep campaign.
"Everything is still the same and I am still weighing my options," said Cowan. "I will probably decide before the season starts or midway through my senior season. I want to see more of my top schools this summer and just make the best decision for me and find the right fit."
