On Sunday Mississippi State hosted 2018 center Jethro Tshisumpa and later in the day the former four-star athlete committed to the Bulldogs.

Tshisumpa is averaging 8.4 points, 6.3 rebounds and 3.8 blocks per game at San Jacinto Community College in California .

As a freshman at Arizona State in 2016-17 Tshisumpa averaged just one point and 1.5 rebounds per game in 26 total appearances

Rivals analyst Eric Bossi had the following to say about Tshisumpa's ability, "Physically strong with long arms, Tshisumpa has SEC size and can help protect the rim while playing with physicality. "

Tshisumpa's joins a 2018 class that includes five-star forward Reggie Perry and four-star wings Robert Woodard and D.J. Stewart.
