Miami DE commits to Mississippi State

Miami (Fla.) Southridge defensive end Deandre Johnson committed to Mississippi State on Sunday night, giving the Bulldogs another impressive commitment from south Florida - joining four-star linebacker Tyler Dunning.

The 6-foot-3, 234-pound three-star recruit chose the Bulldogs over Tennessee, his other finalist.

"I love the facilities and the scheme and I have a great relationship with the coaches," Johnson said about Mississippi State.

He is the 22nd commit of Mississippi State's epic 2017 recruiting class. The Bulldogs sit at No. 12 in the Rivals.com Team Recruiting Rankings.

He joins Deion Pope, James Jackson, Lee Autry, and Drelan Porter as defensive line commitments for Mississippi State.
