Louisville DE Ty Cooper commits to Mississippi State over Ole Miss, others

The Bulldogs targeted Louisville defensive lineman Ty Cooper back in the late-spring.

After seeing his recruitment take off after receiving his first offer from Southern Miss back in October of 2019, Cooper had aspirations to end up at one of the "big" in-state schools.

On Wednesday, that dream became reality when he committed and signed with the Bulldogs.

Cooper ended up choosing Mississippi State over other offers from Colorado, Ole Miss, and several others.

He becomes the 5th recruit in the top 20 of the Miss. state rankings to sign with the Bulldogs in the 2021 class.
