Jalen Johnson enters the portal

Mississippi State forward Jalen Johnson has entered the transfer portal as a graduate student. Johnson logged four solid seasons to the Bulldogs with his peak coming in 2019-20 when he averaged 15.5 points per game and 6.6 rebounds per game. His playing time dropped dramatically this past year from 34 minutes per game to 16.4 and his overall numbers were the lowest of his career in Starkville.

Johnson joins freshman guard Devion Smith and forward Keondre Montgomery as recent transfers after the NIT Championship loss to Memphis.
