Jackson adds an offer

Snellville, Ga., native Zach Jackson has spent most of his summer training with his teammates at Brookwood High School. The 2012 safety prospect has also taken a couple of visits to ACC country as well with more trips planned in the future.
"The summer has been going great and I have mainly just been working out with our football team," said the 5-foot-11 and 180-pound Jackson. "I did go to Wake Forest over the weekend and then they offered me the next day. I also visited Georgia Tech and that went good, too. My recruiting coach from there showed me around the campus and said they would be in contact with me in a week or so. I am also going to see Vanderbilt next week."

And when next month arrives, Jackson has more trips planned.
"I am going to take a couple of visits in July," said Jackson, who had 35 tackles and three interceptions as a junior. "I am going to Illinois on July 21st. I was scheduled to go to Mississippi State's camp last week but I couldn't make that camp. I am going to try to schedule another visit this summer to Mississippi State. My parents want to see their campus and I have already visited there on junior day."
Jackson currently owns offers from Mississippi State, Vanderbilt, Illinois, Wake Forest, Army, Buffalo and Georgia State. He said he holds no favorites but did add he wants to make his decision by the time the summer period concludes.
"I don't have any favorites right now," said Jackson. "Whenever I visit these places, I see if they have a good home environment and if they have my desired major. I am looking to major in sports medicine or biology and that is a major factor.
"And I plan to make a decision on August 1st or around that time. I would like to have my decision made before we start our senior season."
