Impressive offers for Robinson

Like he collected rushing yards and touchdowns last fall, Memphis (Tenn.) native and Wooddale High School rising senior Jovon Robinson has done the same with college scholarship offers. Owning numerous SEC offers already, the 6-foot-1 and 218-pound running back has made a few SEC trips this summer and that trend continues next month.
"I went to a Memphis camp and Alabama's camp and that's been it for now," said Robinson, who rushed for 1,675 yards and 26 touchdowns as a junior. "Then I also went to Auburn's Big Cat weekend for an unofficial visit. I plan on going down to Miami soon and then I am going to also visit Arkansas and Mississippi State."
Despite getting many offers and much recruiting attention, Robinson said that process has motivated him even more this offseason.
"It's a good feeling to have those offers but it really motivates me to keep driving and to keep working hard," said Robinson. "Ultimately, I have to prove that I deserve all the offers that I have. So this summer I have really been working on my downfield running and improving my speed."
Of his current offers, Robinson noted that one SEC program is standing out due to his recent visit.
"I would say Auburn is sticking out to me because that's really the only school I have really visited," said Robinson. "I didn't get to see much of the other schools because I was at camp and playing. I would also say Arkansas, Mississippi State, Alabama, Ole Miss and Notre Dame are in there, too."
Robinson added that making a decision is likely not in his near future and he plans to dwindle his list of favorites down once his senior season gets underway.
"Maybe once the season starts I will narrow it down," said Robinson. "I am just looking to see where I fit in these offenses and where I have a good relationship with the coaches and the players. You just want to see where you will be comfortable.
"I really like the spread offense and also the pro-style offense. But I feel I could flourish in any kind of offense."
