Gulf Coast OL Carson Williams thrilled to be able to call Starkville home

It didn't take long for former Arkansas State offensive lineman Carson Williams to make a decision after receiving the offer from the Bulldogs.

After receiving the offer earlier in October, as well as others from Texas State, Jackson State, Western Kentucky, and more, Williams had plenty of options.

The Forest, Miss. native had it in his mind the moment he got off the phone with coach Mason Miller that he wanted to be a Bulldog.

On Wednesday afternoon, he officially announced those intentions.

ON WHAT SET MISSISSIPPI STATE APART: "I know a lot about the school. I am up there all the time, my girlfriend actually lives there as well. I'm just ready to be a Bulldog. Ik knew long ago that I wanted to do this at home."

HOW THE FAMILY FEELS ABOUT THE DECISION: "There's just crazy excitement. They knew the moment I left Arkansas State that this is what we wanted. Everyone is on board and ready for me to be on the field there at Davis Wade Stadium next season.
