Five-star Wade has MSU in his top eight
Mississippi State has been a darkhorse throughout the commitment of Clairton (Pa.) cornerback Lamont Wade.
The five-star prospect narrowed down his long list of scholarship offers to eight. Mississippi State made the cut, showing that they're a bigger player in his recruitment than most think.
West Virginia, Penn State, Tennessee, UCLA, Pitt, Ohio State, Mississippi State, and Alabama are Wade's top eight schools.
Wade visited Mississippi State in June.
