As the commitment numbers continued to add up for the Bulldogs, one question continued to be asked. "Where is the big-named quarterback?" That question was answered today when Fort Lauderdale, Fla., signal caller Wesley Carroll made his intentions known!
"I committed to Mississippi State," he said. "Basically I had a lot of time to think about it since the season is over. I talked a lot with my parents and with the coaches and my head coach in high school and it's the best fit for me.
"I can play in the SEC and hopefully I can play pretty early. That means a lot to me."
After the brief conversation informing about his commitment, Carroll had more pressing things taking place.
"I actually have one of the coaches here right now," he said. "Coach McCorvey is here for dinner."
Stay tuned for an in-depth interview in the near future.
