Bulldogs add more depth to the backfield

With a group of unproven performers in the fold, the Bulldogs have intimated on several occasions that they wanted to bring more running backs into the mix this year, and that quest fielded results today when Coffeeville's Lee Chambers added his name to the commitment list. While he had listed State high all along, he decided today to go ahead and make things official. What made him choose MSU?
"I committed to Mississippi State," commented the 6-foot-0, 190 pound athlete. "I did it today after I talked to coach Croom yesterday."

One of the main reasons he chose State was because of how – and when – they plan to use him.
"He was telling me how they were going to use me and everything," Chambers said. "He said I would be a running back, but also told me to be prepared to come in and play as a freshman. That was what I wanted to hear.
"We just talked about being able to come in and play. I have always been high on Mississippi State, so it was just time to do it."
