Bulldogs add HUGE commit

State keeps pulling in the commitments and the latest is arguably the best JUCO prospect in the state of Mississippi. An all-state selection as a freshman at Mississippi Gulf Coast C.C. last season, Co-Eric Riley was also a three-sport all-state section in high school. What made him follow in the footsteps of his idol, Eric Moulds?
"I decided to commit to Mississippi State," he said. "Coach Croom is such a good coach and I think he can teach me a lot of stuff."

Riley, once recruited by coach Freddie Kitchens, now has newly-hired coach Melvin Smith in charge of that responsibility. The top dawg, however, was ultimately responsible for Riley's decision.
"They always talk good," he said. "I just made my final decision to commit to them. Really coach Croom was the reason I committed."
So does he have any plans of going anywhere else?
"I am firm," he said. "I probably won't take any more visits, but I don't know yet."
Riley just finished up baseball season after playing four games in the playoffs after returning from a broken hand. He will be 100 percent this fall.
