Bulldogs add another Alabama native

Alabama has been good to MSU over the last several years, including 21 players on its 2006 football roster. They added another for the future last night when linebacker Terrell Johnson made his intentions public.
"He committed to Mississippi State yesterday," commented Gilbert (Ala.) Southern Choctaw coach Larry Boykin. Yesterday he had and in home visit with Jones.

"He was being recruited by Memphis and he had offers from Arkansas, Alabama State and several other schools. I know he liked Coach Jones, the assistant coach there, and so he went over there and he liked coach Croom also."
Boykin stands 6-foot-2 and weighs 200 pounds. He runs a 4.6 forty and is being recruited as an outside linebacker. As a senior, he had 113 tackles in 11 games with six sacks and three fumble recoveries.
