2014 Committs
Kicker Logan Cooke and Columbia Academy(3-5) lost to Jackson Prep, 49-0. Cooke was back on the field for the first time since missing four games with a foot injury. He had four punts for 34 yards-per-punt and missed a 58 yard field goal. Season Stats: 14 punts for 41 yards-per-punt, 3-5 XPs, 1-3 field goals and seven catches for 100 yards and two TDs.

Newton County(4-3) four-star Wide Receiver Jamoral Graham and the Cougars got back on track with a 20-16 win over Northeast Jones. Graham is out for the season after having surgery on his broken finger. Season Stats: 52 carries for 421 yards and five TDs, seven catches for 91 yards and a touchdown, 6-9 passing for 75 yards and a touchdown and nine kick/punt returns for 151 yards and a touchdown. He has a total of 738 yards all-purpose with four touchdowns. Defensively, Graham has 38 tackles (26 solo) four passes broken up, three tackles for loss, three sacks and a forced fumble.
Four-star linebacker Gerri Green and Greenville-Weston (1-7) fell to Columbus, 37-7. Despite the loss, Green continued to play well with 12 tackles (five solo), one tackle for loss and one pass breakup. On offense Green had a carry for 32 yards. Season Stats: 99 tackles (49 solo), seven PBU, 11.5 tackles for loss, three FF and one FR. Offensively: Six catches, 96 yards and two TDs and seven carries for 35 yards.
Jordan Harris of Stephenson(Ga.) (6-1) got back in the win column with a 31-7 victory over Miller Grove.
Defensive end Darius Liggins and the Chargers from Oxford (8-0) continue to roll with a 39-14 win over New Hope. Liggins had four tackles (two solo) with three quarterback hurries, two sacks and two tackles for loss, . Season stats: 54 tackles (24 solo) with nine for loss, nine qb hurries, five sacks, two passes broken up and an interception from his defensive end position.
Defensive back Chris Rayford of Byhalia (3-4) won their second-straight game with a victory over Senatobia, 20-12. Rayford made six tackles, two fumble recoveries, two touchdowns and one tackle for loss. On offense, he had five rushes for 21 yards. Season stats: Rayford has rushed 23 times for 236 yards, hitting the endzone three times. Defense: 38 tackles, four for loss, two sacks, two pass breakups, two fumble recoveries and two touchdowns.
Quarterback Elijah Staley saw his senior season cut short at Wheeler. Season Stats 73-107, 1,043 yards and eight TDs. 17 carries for 164 yards and two touchdowns.
The Red Rebels from Harrison Central (5-3) and MSU defensive back commit Lashard Durr got a win over Ocean Springs, 17-14. His stats are yet to be updated for this week. Season Stats (through seven games): Six carries for 64 yards, eight catches for 169 yards and a touchdown. Defensively: 30 tackles, six pass breakups, a blocked field goal and an interception.
Quarterback Nick Fitzgerald and Richmond Hill (Ga.) (6-1) lost their first game of the season, 34-17 to Ware County. The talented qb was 1-for-3 passing with 14 yards while rushing 14 times for 62 yards and one touchdown. Season Stats 13-32 for 393 yards with five TDS and an interception. 106 carries for 751 yards and 18 touchdowns averaging 7.1 yards per carry.
Columbia (Ga.) High School (3-3) and linebacker Deshon Cooper played a Saturday game against Lithonia. The score wasn't reported at the time of this post. Season Stats: (Through six games) 36 tackles, nine TFL, eight sacks and five forced fumbles. Offense- Eight catches for 123 yards.
Forrest County (6-2) and running back Dontavian Lee got back on track with a win beating Northeast Lauderdale, 41-35. Lee carried 18 times for 157 yards and a touchdown. Season Stats 125 carries for 1,037 yards and seven TDs for 8.3 yards per carry; seven catches for 155 yards and four touchdowns. He's also returned five kicks for 81 yards.
Aeris Williams and the West Point Green Wave (4-4) had a huge come-from-behind victory over Lake Cormorant, 24-21. West Point came from 21 points down to put up 24 unanswered and win their second-straight game. Williams had another monster game rushing 35 times for 293 yards and two Tds. He also had a catch for 24 yards. Season Stats 227 carries for 1,484 yards and 18 touchdowns averaging 6.5 yards per carry this year and 186 yards per game. He also has eight catches 72 yards and another touchdown. He's returned seven kicks for 133 yards.
JUCO linemen Jocquell Johnson and Co-Lin Community College(6-2) lost to Gulf Coast, 21-7.
Norman Price of Hinds(6-2)won their fourth-straight game with a win over Holmes, 27-13.
Braxton Hoyett and Pelham (Ala.) (5-3) had a tough loss to Chelsea, 55-34. Hoyett had nine tackles (three solo). Season Stats: 61 tackles (30 solo), 14 QBH, five TFL, three sacks and a fumble recovery.
MRA (6-2) and defensive/offensive lineman Sean Rawlings had a bye week. Season Stats: 18 tackles (six solo), three tackles for loss and a sack. Will be an offensive lineman at MSU.
JUCO defensive end William Coleman and Tyler (Texas) (7-1) lost their first game of the season to Trinity Valley, 55-31. Season Stats: (Through seven games) 47 tackles, six for loss and three sacks.
3* wide receiver Jesse Jackson and the Petal Panthers (7-1) continued their winning ways with a 42-7 win against Jim Hill. The win didn't come with a cost, however, as Jackson went out of the game in the first quarter with an injury. He is done for the season with a torn acl. In the first he was on pace for a big game with three catches for 92 yards and a touchdown. Season Stats: 22 catches for 332 yards and three touchdowns.
2015 Class
2013 signee Donald Gray at Co-Lin is redshirting during the 2013 season due to injury.
2016 Class
Sophomore linebacker Jonathan Pollock of Dr. Phillips High School (7-0) in Orlando kept rolling with a 54-6 win over Cypress Creek. Pollock had seven tackles, two for loss, a sack and a forced fumble. Season Stats: 49 tackles, 11 for a loss, five sacks and two forced fumbles.
2017 Class
Freshman linebacker Anthony Hines and Episcopal of Dallas (Texas) (5-3) beat Greenhill, 59-21. Hines had 11 tackles with six for loss. On offense, the versatile player had five carries for 60 yards and a touchdown. Season Stats: Offensively: 23 carries for 146 yards and two catches for 20 yards. Defensively: 92 tackles, 20 for loss, nine sacks and three forced fumbles.
