Kicker Logan Cooke and Columbia Academy(3-3) lost to Lamar School, 42-0. Cooke hasn't played the last three games after suffering from a foot injury. Season Stats: 10 punts for 44 yards-per-punt, 3-5 XPs, 1-2 field goals and seven catches for 100 yards and two TDs.

Newton County(4-2) four-star Wide Receiver Jamoral Graham and the Cougars lost a tough one to Forest County AHS. Graham went up against fellow commit Donatvion Lee and had a solid game. He carried the ball 14 times for 53 yards, caught one pass for 12 yards and had a kick return for 12 yards and punt return for 11. Defensively he recorded six tackles with a sack and tackle for loss. Season Stats: 52 carries for 421 yards and five TDs, seven catches for 91 yards and a touchdown, 6-9 passing for 75 yards and a touchdown and nine kick/punt returns for 151 yards and a touchdown. He has a total of 738 yards all-purpose with four touchdowns. Defensively, Graham has 38 tackles (26 solo) four passes broken up, three tackles for loss, three sacks and a forced fumble.
Four-star linebacker Gerri Green and Greenville-Weston (1-5) fell to Warren Central, 31-0. Despite the loss, Green continued to play well with 8 tackles (seven solo), one tackles for loss and one forced fumble. Season Stats: 72 tackles (35 solo), six PBU, six tackles for loss, two FF and one FR. Offensively: Four catches, 50 yards and two TDs.
Jordan Harris of Stephenson(Ga.) (5-0) was on a bye this week.
Defensive end Darius Liggins and the Chargers from Oxford (6-0) continue to roll with a 31-7 victory over Saltillo. Liggins had seven tackles (one solo) with one quarterback hurry. Season stats: 46 tackles (18 solo) with six for loss, six qb hurries, three sacks and an interception from his defensive end position.
Defensive back Chris Rayford of Byhalia (1-4) lost to Rosa Fort, 20-6. Rayford made six tackles, two for loss with two sacks on defense. On offense, he had three rushes for 22 yards. Season stats: Rayford has rushed 12 times for 168 yards, hitting the endzone three times. Defense: 23 tackles, two for loss, two sacks and two pass breakups. He is expected to play defense at MSU.
Quarterback Elijah Staley saw his senior season cut short at Wheeler. Season Stats 73-107, 1,043 yards and eight TDs. 17 carries for 164 yards and two touchdowns.
The Red Rebels from Harrison Central (3-3) and MSU defensive back commit Lashard Durr lost a close one against Gulfport, 24-21. His stats are yet to be updated for this week. Season Stats (through five games): Six carries for 64 yards, eight catches for 169 yards and a touchdown. Defensively: 13 tackles, six pass breakups.
Quarterback Nick Fitzgerald and Richmond Hill (Ga.) (5-0) had another big win on Friday beating Groves, 41-6. The talented qb was 2-for-7 passing with 51 yards and an interception while rushing eight times for 61 yards and two touchdowns. Season Stats 11-28 for 350 yards with five TDS and an interception. 58 carries for 493 yards and 13 touchdowns averaging 8.5 yards per carry.
Columbia (Ga.) High School (2-3) and linebacker Deshon Cooper lost to Marist, 35-0. His stats haven't been updated this week. Season Stats: 12 tackles, six TFL, six sacks and four forced fumbles. Offense- Eight catches for 123 yards.
Forrest County (5-1) and running back Dontavian Lee continued to get the job done with a 16-15 victory over Newton County to win their fourth-straight game. His stats haven't been updated. Season Stats (Through five games) 78 carries for 708 yards and five TDs for nine yards-per- carry; five catches for 82 yards and two touchdowns. He's also returned five kicks for 74 yards.
Aeris Williams and the West Point Green Wave (2-4) lost to Clarksdale, 39-34. Williams rushed 20 times for 118 yards and a touchdown on Friday. He also had a 31-yard kickoff return. Season Stats 166 carries for 939 yards and 10 touchdowns averaging 5.7 yards per carry this year. He also has seven catches 48 yards and another touchdown. He's returned seven kicks for 133 yards.
JUCO linemen Jocquell Johnson and Co-Lin Community College(5-1) made a statement with a 48-7 victory over Itawamba.
Norman Price of Hinds(4-2)won back-to-back with a victory over Southwest, 40-20.
Braxton Hoyett and Pelham (Ala.) (5-1) continued their winning ways with a 41-38 win in a double overtime thriller against Wetumpka. Hoyett recorded 11 tackles (five solo) with two tackles for loss and two quarterback hurries.. Season Stats: 41 tackles (22 solo), 13 QBH, five TFL, three sacks and a fumble recovery.
MRA (5-2) and defensive/offensive lineman Sean Rawlings beat up on Starkville Academy, 40-0. Rawlings' stats have not been updated. Season Stats: (Through six games) 17 tackles (six solo), three tackles for loss and a sack. Will be an offensive lineman at MSU.
JUCO defensive end Will Coleman and Tyler (Texas) (6-0) stayed unbeaten with a 17-10 victory over Navarro. His stats weren't updated. Season Stats: (Through five games) 29 tackles, four for loss and two sacks.
2015 Class
2013 signee Donald Gray at Co-Lin is redshirting during the 2013 season due to injury.
2016 Class
Sophomore linebacker Jonathan Pollock of Dr. Phillips High School (6-0) in Orlando continued to roll with a 49-10 victory over Boone. The sophomore had six tackles, one tackle for loss, a fumble forced and a sack. Season Stats: 42 tackles, nine for a loss, four sacks and a forced fumble.
