Kicker Logan Cooke and Columbia Academy(2-1) defeated Ben Fords from Louisiana 23-12. Cooke handled all kicking duties for the Cougars as well as playing tight end on offense where he made two catches for 37 yards and two touchdowns. He had three kicks that all went for touchbacks, punted three times for 49 yards per-punt, had his one extra point blocked and hit a 46-yard field goal. Season Stats: 10 punts for 44 yards-per-punt, 3-5 XPs, 1-2 field goals and seven catches for 100 yards and two TDs.

Newton County(3-0) Wide Receiver Jamoral Graham had 11 carries for 82 yards, a reception for 19 yards and a 56-yard touchdown on a punt return as the Cougars remained unbeaten with a 33-21 victory over Kosciusko. Season Stats: 16 carries for 249 yards and two TDs, four catches for 70 yards and a touchdown and 56 punt return yards and a touchdown for a total of 375 yards on 21 touches with four touchdowns.
Four-star linebacker Gerri Green and Greenville-Weston (1-2) dropped their second-consecutive game with a loss to Grenada Friday night, 32-13. Green played on both sides of the ball in the first quarter before being ejected for a tussle with a Grenada player after the play. Green still had a good start with five tackles (Three solo) and a pass breakup. Season Stats: 36 tackles (17 solo), four PBU, one FF and one FR. Offensively: Four catches, 50 yards and two TDs.
The offensive line duo of Jordan Harris and Tyler Jones of Stephenson(Ga.) (2-0) knocked off Arabia Mountain (Ga.), 46-7.
Defensive end Darius Liggins and the Chargers from Oxford (3-0) continued to show why the might be the team to beat in 5A with a 37-6 drubbing of Cleveland East Side. Liggins had two tackles and a tackle for loss.. Season stats: 19 tackles (nine solo) with two for loss from his defensive end position.
Defensive back Chris Rayford of Byhalia (1-2) fell for a second-consecutive week as Center Hill knocked them off 23-6. Rayford, still hobbled by an ankle injury, played no further than the first quarter offensively but did enough work on defense. He had three tackles at cornerback. Season stats: Rayford has rushed nine times for 146 yards, hitting the endzone three times, and totaled 11 tackles. He is expected to play defense at MSU.
Quarterback Elijah Staley had a big week as Wheeler (Ga.) (2-0) routed Pope, 59-20. He played only three quarters but made his presence known throwing for 277 yards on 15-23 passing and three touchdowns while rushing for 86 yards on five carries and two more touchdowns. Season Stats 20-29, 444 yards and three TDs. Five carries for 86 yards and two touchdowns.
The Red Rebels from Harrison Central (2-0) and MSU defensive back commit Lashard Durr were off during week three. They're scheduled to take on Greene County this week. Season Stats: Five carries for 68 yards, three catches for 126 yards and a touchdown, five tackles and four PBU.
Quarterback Nick Fitzgerald and Richmond Hill (Ga.) (2-0) continued their winning ways on Friday with a 28-6 win over Beach . Fitzgerald was 4-6 for 100 yards through the air but rushed for 160 yards on just four carries and two touchdowns. Season Stats 4-10 for 100 yards and two TDS. 19 carries for 270 yards and four touchdowns.
Columbia (Ga.) High School (1-1) and linebacker Deshon Cooper got their first win of the season routing McNair 60-0. Cooper did not play in week one but made his first start of the year a big one. He had five tackles Saturday, three sacks and three forced fumbles.
Forrest County (1-1) and running back Dontavian Lee got their first win of the year knocking off Stone, 34-33. Lee had 18 carries for 88 yards and a couple of touchdowns while also registering a catch for 19 yards and a 34-yard kick return. Season Stats 31 carries for 133 yards and two TDs; three catches for 59 yards and a touchdown. He's also returned a kick for 34 yards.
Aeris Williams and the West Point Green Wave (1-1) got back to their winning ways with a 55-33 victory over cross-town rival Starkville. Williams duplicated his big game against South Panola with another big one on Friday. The future Bulldog racked up 246 yards rushing on 23 touches and two touchdowns. Season Stats 57 carries for 452 yards and five touchdowns with seven catches 48 yards and another touchdown. He's also returned six kicks for 102 yards. He has a total of 602 yards on 70 touches and six touchdowns. He's averaging 8.6 yards every time he gets a touch.
JUCO linemen Jocquell Johnson and Co-Lin Community College(2-0) got their second win defeating Northwest, 48-24.
Norman Price of Hinds(2-0) remained undefeated on Thursday with a 55-20 win over Coahoma.
Making his debut on the commitment list is Pelham (Ala.) defensive tackle Braxton Hoyett. Pelham (2-0) got another win on Friday, 16-10. Hoyett recorded three tackles (two solo), two sacks, two hurries and a fumble recovery. Season Stats: Five tackles (three solo), six QBH, three TFL, two sacks and a fumble recovery.

2013 signee Donald Gray at Co-Lin is redshirting during the 2013 season due to injury.
2016 Class
Sophomore linebacker Jonathan Pollock of Dr. Phillips High School (2-0) in Orlando got another win on Friday defeating Olympia (Fla.), 21-6. The sophomore had eight tackles, two for loss, and a sack. Season Stats: 19 tackles, five for a loss and a sack.
