2014 Committs
Kicker Logan Cooke and Columbia Academy(3-6) lost to East Rankin, 52-13. He had four punts averaging 36 yards-per-punt, had three kickoffs all for touchbacks and hit 1-of-2 extra points. On offense, he had three catches for 40 yards. Season Stats: 18 punts for 40 yards-per-punt, 4-7 XPs, 1-3 field goals and 11 catches for 172 yards and two TDs.

Newton County(5-4) four-star Wide Receiver Jamoral Graham and the Cougars lost to Quitman, 28-14. Graham is out for the season after having surgery on his broken finger. Season Stats: 52 carries for 421 yards and five TDs, seven catches for 91 yards and a touchdown, 6-9 passing for 75 yards and a touchdown and nine kick/punt returns for 151 yards and a touchdown. He has a total of 738 yards all-purpose with four touchdowns. Defensively, Graham has 38 tackles (26 solo) four passes broken up, three tackles for loss, three sacks and a forced fumble.
Four-star linebacker Gerri Green and Greenville-Weston (1-8) fell to Northwest Rankin, 40-19. Green is out for the season with a torn acl. Season Stats: 99 tackles (49 solo), seven PBU, 11.5 tackles for loss, three FF and one FR. Offensively: Six catches, 96 yards and two TDs and seven carries for 35 yards.
Jordan Harris of Stephenson(Ga.) (7-1) picked up their second-straigh win, 10-6 over Martin Luther King High School.
Defensive end Darius Liggins and the Chargers from Oxford (9-0) continue to roll with a 47-12 win over Clarksdale. Liggins didn't play in the game. Season stats: 54 tackles (24 solo) with nine for loss, nine qb hurries, five sacks, two passes broken up and an interception from his defensive end position.
Defensive back Chris Rayford of Byhalia (3-5) lost to Ripley, 51-7. Rayford made seven tackles and recovered a fumble. On offense, he had five rushes for 36 yards. Season stats: Rayford has rushed 28 times for 236 yards, hitting the endzone three times. Defense: 45 tackles, four for loss, three fumble recoveries two sacks, two pass breakups and two touchdowns.
Quarterback Elijah Staley saw his senior season cut short at Wheeler. Season Stats 73-107, 1,043 yards and eight TDs. 17 carries for 164 yards and two touchdowns.
The Red Rebels from Harrison Central (6-3) and MSU defensive back commit Lashard Durr got a win over Biloxi, 49-42 in an overtime thriller. His stats are yet to be updated for this week. Season Stats (through eight games): Six carries for 64 yards, eight catches for 169 yards and a touchdown. Defensively: 35 tackles, seven pass breakups, a blocked field goal and an interception.
Quarterback Nick Fitzgerald and Richmond Hill (Ga.) (7-1) got back in the win column with a 28-14 victory over Bradwell. The talented qb was 4-for-8 passing with 74 yards and a touchdown while rushing 22 times for 216 yards and three touchdowns. Season Stats 17-40 for 467 yards with six TDS and an interception. 128 carries for 967 yards and 21 touchdowns averaging 7.6 yards per carry.
Columbia (Ga.) High School (4-3) and linebacker Deshon Cooper played a Saturday game against Lithonia. The score wasn't reported at the time of this post. Season Stats: (Through seven games) 40 tackles, 11 TFL, 10 sacks and five forced fumbles. Offense- Nine catches for 166 yards and a touchdown.
Forrest County (7-2) and running back Dontavian Lee picked up their second-straight win beating Greene County, 28-21. Lee carried 18 times for 157 yards and a touchdown. His stats weren't reported as of this post. Season Stats (Through eight games) 130 carries for 1,047 yards and seven TDs for 8.3 yards per carry; seven catches for 155 yards and four touchdowns. He's also returned five kicks for 81 yards.
Aeris Williams and the West Point Green Wave (5-4) won their third-consecutive game of the season defeating New Hope, 43-22. Williams had another monster game rushing 37 times for 275 yards and three Tds. Season Stats 264 carries for 1,759 yards and 21 touchdowns averaging 6.7 yards per carry this year and 195 yards per game. He also has eight catches 72 yards and another touchdown. He's returned seven kicks for 133 yards.
Braxton Hoyett and Pelham (Ala.) (6-3) had a tough loss to Chelsea, 55-34. Had a big win over Spain Park, 27-24. Hoyett made five tackles (four solo) with three quarterback hurries. Season Stats: 66 tackles (34 solo), 17 QBH, eight TFL, three sacks and a fumble recovery.
MRA (6-3) and defensive/offensive lineman Sean Rawlings had a tough setback against the best team in the MAIS, Jackson Academy, falling 30-20. Season Stats: 18 tackles (six solo), three tackles for loss, one interception and a sack. Will be an offensive lineman at MSU.
3* wide receiver Jesse Jackson and the Petal Panthers (7-1) went down hard against Meridian 45-21. Jackson is done for the season with a torn ACL and MCL. Season Stats: 22 catches for 332 yards and three touchdowns.
JUCO linemen Jocquell Johnson and Co-Lin Community College(7-2) got a win defeating Southwest, 42-14.
Norman Price of Hinds Community College (7-2)won their fifth-straight game with a win over Pearl River, 38-14.
JUCO defensive end William Coleman and Tyler (Texas) (7-1) played Kilgore on Saturday. The score was not reported at the time of this post. Season Stats: (Through eight games) 51 tackles, six for loss and three sacks.
2015 Class
2013 signee Donald Gray at Co-Lin is redshirting during the 2013 season due to injury.
2016 Class
Sophomore linebacker Jonathan Pollock of Dr. Phillips High School (8-0) are looking for a challenge after winning another game big, 42-6 over Evans. Pollock had 10 tackles with two tackles going for loss. Season Stats: 59 tackles, 13 for a loss, five sacks and two forced fumbles.
2017 Class
Freshman linebacker Anthony Hines and Episcopal of Dallas (Texas) (6-3) beat Holland Hall, 56-41. Hines had 15 tackles with four for loss. He also had a 36-yard kick return. Season Stats: Offensively: 23 carries for 146 yards and two catches for 20 yards. Defensively: 107 tackles, 24 for loss, nine sacks and three forced fumbles.
