Tee Milons update

Starkville High recently hired a new head coach in Bill Lee, the former offensive coordinator for the defending state champions, Moss Point. One of the players that will benefit from his expertise is standout athlete Tee Milons. “He is talking about winning the state (championship) again and using the same plays he used at Moss Point,” Tee said.
Many players have prospered over the years under Coach Lee’s offensive schemes including this year’s Mississippi All-Star quarterback and Georgia Tech signee Damarius Bilbo. Coach Lee will in charge of running backs, receivers and quarterbacks and Tee will get to benefit from his experience while playing receiver. He says he will also run some reverses and some pitch sweeps.

Milons he has enjoyed getting to know his new head coach. “We communicate,” he commented. “He has a lot of mottos. He is totally different from (former Starkville High Head Coach) Coach Friend.
“He is with you all of the time, working with you. I have enjoyed my time around coach Lee.”
LSU is his currently Tee’s favorite school. “I am thinking about going to camp there in July,” he said. “They do their camps like they do it in the game. If I learn it in camp then I can already be on my way.”
Milons is also considering Florida, and Southern Miss a little bit. During the early evaluation period was contacted by the offensive coordinators from Tennessee and Florida, and also heard from Head Coach Jeff Bowers from Southern Miss. He has received letters from Michigan, Michigan State, Arkansas, Kentucky, Georgia, Ole Miss, Auburn, Alabama.
Even though he is from Starkville, Mississippi State hasn’t shown much early interest in him. “I haven’t received anything from State other than camp brochures,” he said.
