Mississippi State's historical recruiting rankings in the Rivals era

Today we take a look at how MSU's recruiting classes have been ranked during the Rivals era.

During that span the class of 2003 was the highest rated at No. 9 and the lowest rated class was just one year later in 2004 with a ranking of 62.

The average Bulldog class ranking is 32. During the 17 year stretch the prospects that has signed with the Mississippi State program have averaged 2.88 stars.

Mississippi State's record from 2002 through 2018 is 99-103.

A few notes about the rankings. Rivals rankings are finalized on National Signing Day and late additions are not included. Additionally, only the top 20 members of each class are calculated into the rankings. Keep in mind the rankings are also only for those that sign a national letter of intent, commitments are excluded.
