Marks left Mississippi State with offer

Jo'Quavious Marks visited Mississippi State Saturday and he arrived in Starkville with out an offer. He left with one.

The 5-foot-11, 190 pound four-star running back out of Atlanta (Ga.) Carver will remember his first visit to Mississippi State. The Bulldogs fell in a tough battle to Florida, but that did nothing to dampen his experience.

This offer has put Joe Moorhead's program on Marks' radar.

IN HIS OWN WORDS

"The visit was awesome," said Marks. "I love it. I really felt like I was at home. The fans showed so much love to have me there when I arrived and the campus is pretty.

"Coach Moorhead and coach Huff offered me before the game. They talked to me about how they love me and how the offense really goes with the offense I run right now. They also talked about that academics are first because you can’t keep going you need that education.

"Coach Moorhead is a good coach and he wants his players to be good on and off the field, in the classroom and in life. I think he’s an great coach.

"My interest in Mississippi State now is high."

RIVALS REACTION

Marks is a talented running back who won the MVP award for his position at the Rivals 3 stripe camp presented by adidas in Atlanta. He is a back with quickness, hands and moves in space. It is still early for Marks, and he may not have an outright leader at this time, but the Bulldogs definitely moved up his list after he spent Saturday in Starkville.
