Holcombe commits at Big Dawg Camp

On Friday evening Mississippi State received its fifteenth verbal commitment in the class of 2014 when Tuscaloosa (AL) Hillcrest School linebacker Keith Holcombe gave his pledge to the Bulldog staff at MSU's Big Dawg Camp. The university's Friday evening camp hosted some of the region's best prospects including quite a few commits from this year's class.
After being offered during a similar camp held by Mississippi State back on June 13th, the Alabama legacy ended his recruitment with a selection to Mississippi State, who was thought to be a heavy favorite for his commitment.

Holcombe is the second linebacker to commit to Dan Mullen and staff in this recruiting cycle and he turned down offers from Georgia Tech, Kentucky, N.C. State, Southern Miss and others to spend his next few years in Starkville.
