Groce goes public with his Mississippi State commitment
He held it in as long as he could.
Rodney Groce has committed to Mississippi State.
The 6-foot-2, 227 pound linebacker out of Pleasant Grove (Ala.) actually knew of his decision while he was still committed to Nebraska weeks ago.
"I committed to Mississippi State about an hour before I decommitted from Nebraska. That is when I told coach Joe Moorhead of my decision," said Groce.
"It is closer to home, they have great coaches and I’m willing to join the rebuilding process at Mississippi State.
"I have been going there since my 10th grade year and I feel at home. I feel this is the best fit on and off the field."
