East Miss. LB DeShawn Page flips to Bulldogs from Texas Tech

The results on the field have not been kind to the Bulldogs offensively in recent weeks. Defensively, the team currently leads the conference statistically, and on Saturday they added a big piece to that unit.

East Mississippi C.C. LB DeShawn Page, formerly committed to Texas Tech, announced his commitment to the program on his Twitter account:

When Page first received the offer from MSU, BulldogBlitz mentioned he was instantly a name to know.

Page grew up around the SEC. This is a dream come true for him.

He chose the Bulldogs over other offers including schools like Texas Tech, Kansas State, (was committed there at one point as well) and Oklahoma State among others.

The Lions of East Mississippi are not playing this fall, or else Page likely would have added several other offers to his list.

Page becomes commitment number 20 for the Bulldogs, in a class now pushing toward the Top 20 nationally.
