Dixon, Chaney named Preseason All-SEC
STARKVILLE – Mississippi State seniors Anthony Dixon and Jamar Chaney have been named to the 2009 preseason All-SEC team selected by the coaches, the league announced Thursday.
Dixon rushed for 869 yards in the 2008 season. Chaney led the team in tackles in 2007 before suffering a broken leg in the first game of the 2008 campaign. Both were selected to last year's preseason All-SEC team as well.
Mississippi State begins practice on August 3rd in preparation for their season opener against Jackson State on September 5th.
