Bulldogs with another impressive showing in NFL draft

Mississippi State had another impressive draft with five former Bulldogs taken in the 2020 NFL Draft.

As expected, linebacker Willie Gay led the way when he was picked by the Kansas City Chiefs in the second round.

The SEC once again dominated the draft with 63 players having their name called . The Bulldogs were sixth in the conference and 11th in the country.

For the 14th consecutive year, the SEC led all conferences. The conference set records for the most first-round picks (15), top 10 picks (6), top 20 picks (10) and the most picks in two rounds (25).
