Bulldogs add trio for spring semester

STARKVILLE, Miss - Three players have joined the Mississippi State football program for the 2010 spring semester, head football Dan Mullen announced. Vick Ballard, James Carmon and Blaine Clausell began classes on Wednesday and will participate in offseason workouts and spring practices.
Ballard and Carmon signed with the Bulldogs after playing the past two seasons at Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College, while Clausell enrolled in classes after completing his high school career at Baker High School in Mobile in December.

"We're excited to have these three players join us in the spring semester and get a jump on the 2010 season," Mullen said. "I think you can see what our spring enrollees did last season and tell that it had an immediate impact on our football team. This is a good start to what we anticipate being a stellar signing class."
