With his decision behind him, Adams can focus on his senior season and helping his team make a run at the playoffs.

Brandon will enter this third week of action with a 1-1 record. After an opening winning over Vicksburg, the Bulldogs suffered a heartbreaking setback against arch-rival Pearl. Adams and Brandon are working hard to make sure that is the last loss they have this season.
"We beat Vicksburg pretty good in our first game," Adams said. "I had a good game, lots of tackles and I even scored a TD on a scoop and score. It was a great game for us. Last week we lost to Pearl 27-20 in overtime. That one is kind of hard to swallow but we've got to focus on our next game. I had two sacks against Pearl so I played well but I would have rather beat them. This week we get to play Clinton. That should be a fun game. I get to play against my future teammate Cedric Jiles so that will be a lot of fun. If we hold down our mistakes and play a complete game, we should win."
In June, Adams decided it was time for him to put his recruiting behind him and let coach Dan Mullen know he wanted to be a Bulldog. Adams reports that he is very happy to have that part of his recruitment behind him.
"It was just such a relief to get that behind me," Adams said. "That took a big weight off of me. I can go out there now and focus on football and getting better. I just love everything about MSU. The coaches care about you. The environment is unreal. It is just overall the best school that there is in my eyes."
With the Bulldogs prepared to kickoff Thursday night in Memphis, Adams is making plans to come watch his future team as much as possible. He knows for a fact that he will be making the trip to Starkville for three games for sure and maybe more.
"I know that I get to come to the LSU game because we are off that week," Adams said. "I am also planning on being there for the Alabama game as well. I will make as many of them as I can. Oh, and I know I will be there for the Egg Bowl when we beat Ole Miss."
