The 2007 Rivals100: 51-100

The 2007 class sent a ton of talent to the college ranks and saw many prospects go on to have immediate success as true freshmen for their respective teams.

Rivals.com takes a look at how members of the 2007 Rivals100 are faring after one full college football season and where they stand going into 2008 spring practice.

  • The 2007 Rivals100: 1-50

    The 2007 Rivals100: 50-100
    51. Jordan Bernstine, S, Iowa
    Freshman Recap: Played in 12 games, 9 total tackles (7 solo, 2 assists) and 2 KOR for 27 yards for 6-6 Iowa.
    Spring Status: Will compete for a spot in the Iowa secondary.
    52. Armando Allen, RB, Notre Dame
    Freshman Recap: Played in 12 games, 86 carries for 348 yards, 24 rec for 124 yards and 1 TD and 33 KOR for 704 yards for 3-9 Notre Dame.
    Spring Status: Will compete for carries with starter James Aldridge and Rivals100 classmate Robert Hughes.
    53. Chris Strong, DE, Ole Miss
    Freshman Recap: Played in 9 games, 19 total tackles (10 solo, 9 assists), 1 TFL, 1 PBU and 1 QB hurry for 3-9 Ole Miss.
    Spring Status: In the mix at defensive end for the Rebels.
    54. Dez Bryant, WR, Oklahoma State
    Freshman Recap: Played in 12 games, 43 rec for 622 yards and 6 TD, 2 carries for 16 yards and 2 punt ret for 15 yards for 7-6 Oklahoma State.
    Spring Status: Should run away with one of the starting receiver spots.
    55. Matt Romine, OT, Notre Dame
    Freshman Recap: Played in 2 games for 3-9 Notre Dame, could get medical redshirt after elbow injury.
    Spring Status: Expected to add depth at left tackle.
    56. Kerry Murphy, DT, Alabama
    Freshman Recap: Did not qualify academically, spent 2007 season at Hargrave Military Academy and re-signed with Alabama.
    Spring Status: Not yet on campus
    57. Lennon Creer, RB, Tennessee
    Freshman Recap: Played in 13 games, finished with 36 carries for 214 yards and a TD, caught two passes for 13 yards and returned 13 kickoffs for 243 yards for 10-4 Tennessee.
    Spring Status: Will compete for carries behind returning starter Arian Foster.
    58. Sidell Corley, DE, LSU
    Freshman Recap: Redshirted
    Spring Status: Competing to get in the mix at defensive end.
    59. Joe Haden, CB, Florida
    Freshman Recap: Started 12 games at cornerback, 63 total tackles (43 solo, 20 assists), 1 INT, 5 TFL, 12 PBU for 9-4 Florida.
    Spring Status: Will be relied upon to help lead a young secondary from his cornerback spot.
    60. Eugene Clifford, S, Ohio State
    Freshman Recap: Played in 4 games, 8 total tackles (3 solo, 5 assists), 1 TFL for 11-2 Ohio State.
    Spring Status: Coming off injuries and suspension during freshman season, battling for playing time in the OSU secondary.
    61. Lee Ziemba, OT, Auburn
    Freshman Recap: Played in 13 games, started 12 games at right tackle for 9-4 Auburn.
    Spring Status: Working with the first team at left tackle this spring.
    62. Michael Keck, DE, Missouri
    Freshman Recap: Redshirted
    Spring Status: Fourth string defensive end on the pre-spring depth chart, battling two sophomores for playing time behind senior starter Stryker Sulak.
    63. Stefoin Francois, S, LSU
    Freshman Recap: Redshirted
    Spring Status: Will attempt to make a move up the depth chart at safety.
    64. Brian Price, DT, UCLA
    Freshman Recap: Played in 10 games, 14 total tackles (9 solo, 5 assists), 8 TFL, 1 sack, 1 PBU and 2 FF for 6-7 UCLA.
    Spring Status: Will battle to lock down a starting spot at defensive tackle this spring.
    65. Antwane Greenlee, OT, Florida State
    Freshman Recap: Redshirted
    Spring Status: Already penciled in as the starter at right tackle.
    66. Aaron Hernandez, TE, Florida
    Freshman Recap: Played in 13 games, 9 rec for 151 yards and 2 TD for 9-4 Florida.
    Spring Status: Likely to settle in as backup to Cornelius Ingram for another year.
    67. Joseph Barksdale, OT, LSU
    Freshman Recap: Made the move to offensive tackle, played in 11 games for 12-2 LSU.
    Spring Status: Battling Jarvis Jones for the starting spot at right tackle.
    68. Anthony Davis, OG, Rutgers
    Freshman Recap: Started at right guard for 8-5 Rutgers.
    Spring Status: Making the move to tackle and is looking to build on momentum from freshman season.
    69. Richetti Jones, DE, Oklahoma State
    Freshman Recap: Redshirted
    Spring Status: Has added strength and about 15 pounds since arriving, should be a factor at defensive end this spring.
    70. Bryan Bulaga, OT, Iowa
    Freshman Recap: Became a starter at left guard in the final 7 games for 6-6 Iowa.
    Spring Status: Will likely miss the spring after undergoing shoulder surgery.
    71. Lamark Brown, WR, Kansas State
    Freshman Recap: Played in eight games, 3 rec for 33 yards, 8 total tackles (3 solo, 5 assists) for 5-7 Kansas State.
    Spring Status: Will be competing for a starting receiver spot this spring.
    72. Andre Jones, DT, Texas
    Freshman Recap: Arrested and kicked off the team before freshman season.
    73. Niles Paul, WR, Nebraska
    Freshman Recap: Played in 7 games, 1 rec for 6 yards, 1 KOR for 8 yards, 2 assisted tackles for 5-7 Nebraska.
    Spring Status: Will compete for starting receiver spot during spring.
    74. Myles Wade, DT, Oregon
    Freshman Recap: Didn't qualify academically, currently at Arizona Western C.C. where he registered 54 tackles and 3.5 sacks as a freshman.

    Spring Status: Will attempt to get in the mix for playing time on the offensive line this spring.
    76. Derrick Morgan, DE, Georgia Tech
    Freshman Recap: Played in 12 games, 9 total tackles ( 4 solo, 5 assists), 2 TFL, and 1 PBU for 7-6 Georgia Tech.
    Spring Status: Going through his second spring practice, could compete for a starting spot at defensive end.
    77. Robert Hughes, RB, Notre Dame
    Freshman Recap: Played in 11 games, had 53 carries for 294 yards and 4 TD, 3 rec for 17yards and 5 KOR for 41 yards for 3-9 Notre Dame.
    Spring Status: Will compete for carries with starter James Aldridge and Rivals100 classmate Armando Allen.

    Spring Status: Will compete for playing time at cornerback.

    Spring Status: Will get plenty of work as he is the only scholarship tight end on the roster going through spring practice.

    Freshman Recap: Played in 13 games, 57 total tackles (37 solo, 20 assists), 3 INT, 3 TFL, 1 sack, 1 FR, 7 PBUs for 7-6 Georgia Tech.
    Spring Status: Will battle to start at safety for first-year coach Paul Johnson.
    85. Raymond Carter, RB, UCLA
    Freshman Recap: Played in 1 game for 6-7 UCLA..
    Spring Status: Coming off a knee injury, may be able to participate in non-contact drills during spring practice.
    86. Mike McNeil, S, Auburn
    Freshman Recap: Played in 13 games, 35 total tackles (22 solo, 13 assists), 1 TFL, 1 QB hurry for 9-4 Auburn.
    Spring Status: Going through spring as a starter at safety.
    87. Gerald Jones, ATH, Tennessee
    Freshman Recap: Played in nine games, finished the season with 11 receptions for 111 yards and a TD and eight carries for 58 yards and two TDs for 10-4 Tennessee.
    Spring Status: In the mix at receiver as new OC Dave Clawson looks for ways to get him the ball.

    Spring Status: Fighting for playing time in a Texas secondary loaded with young talent.

    Spring Status: Was set to compete in a three-way battle for the starting quarterback spot with sophomore Chris Smelley and junior Tommy Beecher before another run-in with campus police left his future in doubt.

    Spring Status: Competing for starting receiver spot with Mario Manningham and Adrian Arrington off to the NFL.

    Spring Status: Will compete for playing time at safety with an experienced USC secondary.
    93. Drake Nevis, DT, LSU

    Spring Status: Working to earn playing time in a loaded defensive tackle rotation.

    Spring Status: Now up to 290 pounds, making the move to defensive end from linebacker this spring.
    96. Travian Robertson, DE, South Carolina
    Freshman Recap: Played in 12 games, 7 total tackles (4 solo, 3 assists) 1 PBU and 1 QB hurry for 6-6 South Carolina.
    Spring Status: Running with the second team at defensive end.
    97. Keenan Robinson, LB, Texas

    Spring Status: Has put himself in the mix for playing time at linebacker.
    98. Willy Korn, QB, Clemson
