Florida coach Urban Meyer and his team celebrated their national title at a Gators basketball game this week, and they will do so again in The Swamp on Saturday. But it will also be a working weekend with some big-time official visitors on hand. And Florida is not the only school playing host to top talent this weekend.

At Florida State, one five-star prospect and two four-star prospects will be on hand and will be the first to meet FSU's new offensive coaching staff, led by former LSU coordinator Jimbo Fisher.

Nick Saban's feet had barely hit the tarmac in Tuscaloosa when Alabama fans began salivating at the recruiting possibilities for this years recruiting class. With the first official visitors expected to arrive Friday, the group will contain mostly Tide pledges, including Robert Marve and Kourtnei Brown, but will also boast one of the nation's top linebackers.

Auburn Tigers: AuburnSports.com
Auburn's recruiting stretch run officially gets underway Friday when the Tigers host 17 official visitors in what will be AU's biggest recruiting weekend. The 17 official visitors include 11 current Aubrun commits and six uncommitted prospects, including three members of the Rivals100.

Cal Golden Bears: BearTerritory.net
Cal has already put together one of the most talent rich recruiting classes this program has ever seen. This weekend, the Bears are hosting two players from the same SoCal high school, an Arizona defensive back recruit, plus an unlikely transfer from Florida. What do all four have in common? Their teams won championships in 2006.

Florida Gators: GatorBait.net
This weekend may not be not be huge numbers wise, but it is a big weekend nonetheless as the University of Florida plays host to a trio of four-star rated targets. The wild card could be the effect Saturday's National Championship Celebration in the Swamp has on the prospects in attendance.

Florida State Seminoles: Warchant.com
This is the first of three big official visit weekends in the month of January for the Seminoles. Florida State is expected to host six recruits, including a five-star prospect and two four-stars. The incoming prospects will be the first to meet FSU's newest coaches, offensive coordinator Jimbo Fisher, offensive line coach Rick Trickett and receivers coach Lawrence Dawsey.

Kansas Jayhawks: JayhawkSlant.com
This weekend may not be huge numbers-wise, but it is still a big one for Kansas coach Mark Mangino and his staff. The key visitor is four-star wide receiver William Cole, who will also be visiting Arkansas and Missouri before signing day.

New Michigan State head coach Mark Dantonio and his staff will be hosting prospects from seven different states on official visits this weekend. Among the prospects in East Lansing will be quarterbacks Kirk Cousins and Matt Simms, son of former NFL quarterback Phil Simms.

Ohio State Buckeyes: BuckeyeGrove.com
The Buckeyes are currnetly holding at 13 verbal commitments, but they are hoping that number goes up this weekend as they are set to host several prospects on official visits. Highlighting the group are four-star linebacker Jermale Hines and five-star wide receiver Ronald Johnson.

After almost a month-long recruiting lull for Ole Miss, things pick up this weekend for the Rebels as head coach Ed Orgeron will welcome almost a dozen prospects, including five-star Joe McKnight and three four-star prospects.

South Florida is expecting as many as a dozen visitors during its first major recruiting weekend of the month. Headlining the visitors will be five players who have already chosen to become Bulls in 2007 and one player already committed to another school. Stanford Cardinal: CardinalReport.com
The biggest story this weekend in Pac-10 recruiting won't be in traditional places like USC, UCLA, Cal or even at one of the Oregon schools. It appears the place to be is Palo Alto, Calif., as new Cardinal coach Jim Harbaugh is making up for lost time by hosting his first monster recruiting weekend.

Tennessee Volunteers: VolQuest.com
Tennessee will have at least 15 official visitors this weekend, including a late addition in four-star athlete Brandon Paul from Tallahassee, Fla., who recently placed the Vols in his top three along with the hometown Florida State Seminoles and Auburn.
