Tuesday's Top Tigers

Tuesday's Top Tigers makes its return to PowerMizzou.com. A player's ranking one week has no bearing on his placement on the list the next week. This is our list of the 11 Tigers who had, in our opinion, the best performances throughout the course of fall camp. Beginning next week, our list will be based on the previous Saturday's game:

Tuesday's Top Tigers
1 T.J. Moe, WR If there is a go-to guy in this receiving corps, it looks like Moe. He may not have the big play ability of Danario Alexander, but he catches everything and has emerged as the top target. N/A
2 Carl Gettis, CB Everyone said this was Gettis' best camp. Now, he has to back that up during the regular season. N/A
3 Blaine Gabbert, QB Gabbert was very good, both on the field and as a leader. With most putting the bulk of the Tigers' season on him, Gabbert did all he could to instill confidence in Tiger fans. N/A
4 Michael Egnew, TE Egnew has those who watched practice talking about the next great tight end for Missouri. He has been very good in practice since last season ended. N/A
5 Kendial Lawrence, TB Lawrence was good enough through camp to be the unquestioned No. 2 back. With the suspension of Derrick Washington, we'll find out if he's good enough to be No. 1. N/A
6 Henry Josey, TB Like Lawrence, Josey may have been on this list on his own merit. But with Washington out, there is little question the freshman from Angleton is going to play this season. N/A
7 Darvin Ruise, LB When you wear No. 12 and play outside linebacker at Missouri, the Spoon comparisons are going to come. Physically, they make a lot of sense. Now we'll see if they make sense once the season starts. N/A
8 Luke Lambert, LB Lambert was listed as a co-starter when camp began coming off an injury last year. He gained control of the starting job at MLB early and didn't let go. N/A
9 Tim Barnes, C Any lineman could pretty much be on here, but Barnes has been solid every day and may have a bigger lead on the No. 2 guy than any other lineman. N/A
10 Aldon Smith, DE Every day, he does something to remind you how good he can be. If he truly hasn't reached his potential, he's going to be fun to watch. N/A
11 Jayson Palmgren, OG Palmgren had his struggles last season, but outplayed the competition to win the starting job at guard.. N/A
