Keenum completed 33-of-46 passes for 371 yards and two touchdowns without an interception. After holding a 9-6 halftime lead, Keenum led Houston to 35 second-half points to give the 5-1 Cougars their best start since opening 5-1 in 2003.
For the second time in as many games, Harris returned a kickoff for a touchdown to spark East Carolina's special teams play. After bringing one back 77 yards vs. SMU Oct. 10, he returned a Rice kickoff 92 yards for a score Saturday. The return ranked as the 10th longest in ECU history and was the longest since Chris Johnson had a pair of 96-yarders in 2006 and 2007.
