Marable coming up for official

After an unofficial visit to Corvallis this past summer, Mission Hills (Calif.) Alemany High School running back, Malcolm Marable pulled the trigger and committed to Mike Riley and the Oregon State program. Since then, Malcolm has gone about his usual business and has led his team to a 3-2 record including a hard fought 28-17 loss to one of the top 10 teams in the nation in Oaks Christian.

Marable has already compiled some impressive stats to add to the amazing numbers he posted as a junior but he has his sights set on more.

"I don't even know how many yards I have to be honest but I know that I have nine touchdowns through four games. (Malcolm missed the game vs. Kennedy) I had an interception in my last game and have been getting better at the cornerback spot. In fact Fresno State called my coach the other day and told him how bad they want me to come up there and play corner, but we told them that I want to play running back and I am fully committed to attending Oregon State and being a Beaver."
