Broadway heads to Starkville

Mississippi State will welcome one of the most coveted quarterbacks in the Southeast on Saturday.

Baton Rouge four-star Terrance Broadway will be making his first trek to Starkville to pay the Bulldogs and head coach Dan Mullen a visit.

"I'm ready to come up there," Broadway said. "I'm expecting to see some good things around. Hopefully I will get a chance to get a tour around the campus and look at their academics, their facilities and the athletic buildings. I want to check it out."

MSU extended an offer to the 6-foot-1, 197-pounder on Friday and automatically became one of the top programs on his growing.

"I like Mississippi State," Broadway said. "Coach Mullen is a good coach. I got a chance to talk to him when I called up there on Friday. They came and watched me throw during the spring and obviously liked what they saw. They run the same offense that he brought from Florida and it fits me well."

One of the main reasons that Broadway is high on the Bulldogs is Mullen's resume of producing some of the nation's top quarterbacks during stints at Bowling Green, Utah and Florida.
