New Jersey OL looking for his first offer

Offensive lineman Zachary Hundertmark of Princeton Junction (NJ) West Windsor-Plainsboro South has yet to pull in his first offer, but it appears that it is just a manner of time before that happens.

With schools like North Carolina, Virginia, Rutgers, Army, Penn State, Boston College, Iowa, Wake Forest, Navy, and Harvard. "Harvard came to my school last week and spoke to my coach," shares Hundertmark, who also plans on taking a trip to Army to visit the historical campus. "I was there when I was little, but we (family) are going to check it out later … like early summer and check out West Point."

Presently, Hundertmark is receiving lots of mail from Army, as well as Navy. "I think they are both great institutions and I could see myself playing there and attending Army or Navy," states the 6-foot-5, 268 New Jersey prospect, who also plays power forward on West Windsor-Plainsboro South High School.

Look for Hundertmark to start adding much of weight that he lost during the basketball season and at 6-foot-8, picking up an addition 20-25 pounds is not uncomfortable for the soon to be senior.

Hundertmark is very athletic for a player his size and has been timed in the forty at 4.8, benches 300 pounds, squats 460 and has a vertical that allows him to grap the basketball rim with ease. "I'm being recruited as center or guard because I'm pretty athletic although I am playing tackle now," confirms Hundertmark.

He is also assessing where he will be camping this summer, in order to showcase his skills. "I plan on going to Virginia's camp, UNC & Penn State camps and maybe even Boston College's camp," notes Hundertmark.

What is Hundertmark looking for in a school? "I really want to go to a really good academic school, so Boston College is standing out, Virginia, North Carolina, I'm looking at more education before athletics," he declares. "I'm interested in all academically sound schools, so that would include Army, Navy and the Ivy schools as well."

Currently, Hundertmark maintains a 3.2 GPA - 3.2 and scored 580 on the math portion of the SAT and 480 critical reading. "I wasn't really satisfied, so I'm taking them again," says the offensive line prospect. will continue to stay in touch with Hundertmark throughout his recruiting process.
