Four-star WR enjoys MSU experience

Four-star wide receiver Da'Rick Rogers is widely considered one of the top recruits in the Southeast, if not the country.

The 6-foot-3, 206-pounder from Calhoun, Ga., already has nine scholarship offers and traveled to Mississippi State along with teammate Nash Nance and his family for the Bulldogs second spring scrimmage.

"The visit was pretty good," Rogers said. "I liked it a lot and I know Nash liked it. It was really good because it was more personal because Coach (Dan)Mullen spent two or three hours with us. All the coaches were nice and the people that showed us around were pretty cool. The campus is amazing. I really wasn't expecting anything like that though.

"They really do have a lot to offer. For the people out there that think it's just an agricultural school it's really not. They have a ton to offer."

Speaking of offers, that is something Rogers seems to be accumulating plenty of these days. On Friday he was offered by Ole Miss while he and Nance were in Oxford visiting the Rebels practice.
