Jones busy taking in junior days

Running back Malcolm Jones (6-0, 215, 4.55) from Westlake Village (Calif.) Oaks Christian will be one of the most sought after players in the out of the class of 2010. The battle for his services could end up resembling a good old-fashioned donnybrook. The talented two-way standout has been busy taking in junior days.

Jones attended junior days in order at USC, Stanford and UCLA.

"USC's junior day went pretty good," Jones said. "They took us around the campus and we met the coach (Pete Carroll) and I was able to talk to my position coach (Todd McNair)."

"I liked Stanford, a lot," Jones said. "They did pretty much the same thing that USC did. I liked how Stanford's coaches were down to earth and relaxed."

"I liked UCLA's junior day, too," Jones said. "It was good. UCLA also gave us a tour of the campus and we were able to talk to all the coaches. Then we took in a basketball game."
