Offers rising for Montana

If there is one position that you can count on California for it is at quarterback. Once again the Golden State will have their fair share of signal callers headed to the D-I level. One of the fastest rising is Nick Montana (6-3, 186, 4.6) from Westlake Village (Calif.) Oaks Christian.

Montana has improved immensely since he first arrived on the scene and he was good them. The good news about Montana is he will only get better because he still has untapped potential.

On the recruiting front, Montana has seven offers on the table. The most recent offer came from Florida State. The Seminoles have joined other schools that have offered him and they are Maryland, Ohio State, LSU, South Carolina, Arizona and Stanford pursuing Montana's services.

UCLA, Cal, Oregon and a host of other schools are showing interest in Montana. He was a guest at the UCLA/USC game last fall. He is currently on an unofficial visit to Ohio State and is scheduled to visit Texas Tuesday and Wednesday.
