SoCal QB lands first two offers

There is a strong case that Pete Thomas (6-5, 211, 4.9) from El Cajon (Calif.) Valhalla is among the very best signal callers from the Golden State out of the class of 2010. He comes with a complete set of tools and with his work ethic will only get better.

As a junior, Thomas was League Player of the Year, first-team all-area and first-team San Diego Section all-CIF after throwing for 3,169 yards and 29 touchdowns against only fives while hitting on 68.1 percent of his passes.

Thomas already has two offers, but strangely enough, both this California gunslinger's offers come all the way from east coast by ACC schools, Boston College and Maryland. He is getting recruiting letters from just about every school from coast-to-coast.
