SoCal DB lands No. 8
There is no doubt that safety Sean Parker (6-0, 185, 4.5) from Harbor City (Calif.) Narbonne is one the most sought after safety prospects for the class of 2010. He already has eight offers from conferences as diverse as the Pac 10, Big 10 and Big 12. He is getting letters from colleges coast-to-coast.
Parker first gained notoriety as a vicious hitter his sophomore season as he made his area of the field a virtual no man's land and made more than one receiver come down with a severe case of alligator arms.
As a sophomore, Parker earned first-team all-league honors after accounting for 60 tackles, five interceptions, four pass deflections, two fumble recoveries and one forced fumble.
Parker racked up 57 tackles, five more picks, three forced fumbles, one sack and one fumble recovery as he earned first-team all-league, first-team all-area, and first-team all-city for his junior season performance.
Parker currently has offers from Arizona State, Oregon, Stanford, Washington State, Colorado, Minnesota, Notre Dame and his latest offer came in yesterday from Washington.
Besides being an outstanding football player, he also gets the job done in the classroom as he is an honor roll student and carries a 3.8 GPA.
