Glass following in big footsteps

Dallas Carter is one of the top programs year in and year out when it comes to producing college football players in the state of Texas. The Cowboys have three seniors with Division I offers, including current Texas A&M defensive tackle commit Chris Henderson.

There is more talent coming through the school, though. Perhaps the top prospect in the 2010 class is offensive guard Dalvin Glass. The 6-foot-3, 270-pound junior has gained notice in the offseason as college coaches make the rounds.

"No sir, I don't have any offers just yet," said Glass. "A bunch of colleges have been coming by our school, though. I know that I've seen Iowa State up there, Kansas has been up there and Texas A&M, they've been there. The Iowa State coach gave my coach a card to give to me, but I haven't had a chance to call him yet."

Glass says that it is too early to call any one of two schools favorites, but does admit that one program has an inroad due to connections with his high school.
