Markieff Morris accepts diversion agreement

Bill Self conducted his weekly press conference in Lawrence on Wednesday afternoon. KU's head coach discussed a number of topics with the media, including the latest concerning freshman big man Markieff Morris, who was involved in an Airsoft rifle incident last August at Jayhawker Towers. According to Self, Morris has accepted a diversion agreement, which requires him to perform 20 hours of community service.

Towards the end of Bill Self's weekly press conference on Monday, he indicated big man Markieff Morris wouldn't be attending court on Friday. That's because he has accepted a diversion agreement, which requires him to perform 20 hours of community service, for his involvement in an Airsoft rifle incident last August at the Jayhawk Towers.
