Kansas gunning for CBE title

Six years ago, Kansas and Syracuse played for a national championship with Roy Williams' KU team coming up just short. Now, on Tuesday night in Kansas City, MO., the Bill Self led Jayhawks (3-0, 0-0), fresh off a national championship, take on the Orange (4-0, 0-0) for the CBE Classic title. Both teams looked solid on Monday in their respective semifinal match ups but now face a quick turnaround for the championship game. Sherron Collins has led the way for Kansas through three games and now looks to take his team to a 4-0 start with a big win over one of the nation's rising squads. Tip is set for 9:15 p.m. at the Sprint Center.

With Kansas not having faced any real competition to this point, it was tough to imagine a team with so much youth and inexperience dominating Washington, a solid program from a BCS conference.
